چکیده

The use of synthetic chemicals has increased drastically due to industrialization and urbanization. However, the long-term indiscriminate these a negative impact on environment human health; thus, public concerns about hazardous effects such are increasing day by day. To solve problems, exploitation potential alternatives become major challenge, admiration beneficial microbes is their safe environment-friendly nature. Microbes can mitigate reducing toxicity. Lysinibacillus species gram-positive, spore-forming, motile bacteria. This genus was previously designated as Bacillus spp. under family Bacillaceae phylum Firmicutes. For long period time, well-known for its insecticidal activity against various insects, including mosquitoes, which vector several diseases. In addition, some have heavy metal remediation. recent years, attracting researchers’ attention plant growth-promoting disease control agents, would be used agrochemicals. study gives an overview entomopathogenic, bioremediation, growth-promoting, biological abilities Lysinibacillus.

Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR): Their potential as antagonists and biocontrol agents

Bacteria that colonize plant roots and promote plant growth are referred to as plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR). PGPR are highly diverse and in this review we focus on rhizobacteria as biocontrol agents. Their effects can occur via local antagonism to soil-borne pathogens or by induction of systemic resistance against pathogens throughout the entire plant. Several substances produced...

The biology of Toxorhynchites mosquitoes and their potential as biocontrol agents

Toxorhynchites spp. mosquitoes are recognised as potential biological control agents of pest and vector species of mosquito. There have been many attempts to use them for this purpose since the beginning of the twentieth century, although with relatively low levels of success, which has been attributed to a lack of knowledge of the general biology of Toxorhynchites mosquitoes. Increasing resist...

Potential Agents for Bioremediation of Nitrate Contamination

Addition of hydrogen or formate significantly enhanced the rate of consumption of nitrate in slurried core samples obtained from an active zone of denitrification in a nitrate-contaminated sand and gravel aquifer (Cape Cod, Mass.). Hydrogen uptake by the core material was immediate and rapid, with an apparent Km of 0.45 to 0.60 ,iM and a Vmax of 18.7 nmol cm-3 h-' at 30°C. Nine strains of hydro...

Can snails ever be effective and safe biocontrol agents ?

The use of snails as biocontrol agents against other snails and against aquatic weeds is reviewed, evaluating their success and their impacts on non-target organisms. The predatory snail Euglandina rosea (and other species), although widely used against Achatina fulica (the giant African land snail) on Pacific and Indian Ocean islands, has not been shown to control A. fulica but has seriously i...

Distribution and Identification of Endophytic Streptomyces Species from Schima wallichii as Potential Biocontrol Agents against Fungal Plant Pathogens.

The prospective of endophytic microorganisms allied with medicinal plants is disproportionally large compared to those in other biomes. The use of antagonistic microorganisms to control devastating fungal pathogens is an attractive and eco-friendly substitute for chemical pesticides. Many species of actinomycetes, especially the genus Streptomyces, are well known as biocontrol agents. We invest...
